Initial Consultation
Give us a call and we can talk. We'll arrange to look at your garden and discuss
the options
for improving it. If you have your own ideas, great! If not, don't worry
we are never short of inspirational ideas to create a beautiful garden designed
just for you.
Through informal
discussion we can propose a design that not only looks the way you hoped, but feels great
to be in and takes care of all those details you didn't think were important or didn't even know about.
Following the meeting you'll receive a detailed fee proposal with your requirements clearly set out.

Site Survey
A survey of the site is essential if we are to provide you with an accurate, detailed
design. So, once we've agreed on the basis for a design, we'll complete a full site
survey and draw up accurate scale plans. For larger or more complex sites we may
get
a land surveyor to do the job. Some of our clients have recently made alterations
to the house and already have a survey of the site. If so, we'll be happy to use
the data where possible. We will simply need to complete a site analysis to
ensure that we have assessed the opportunities and the limitations of your space.

Outline Plan
The design is drawn up and hand shaded to help you visualise your new garden. All
our designs are created electronically (CAD). In addition to 2D plans, 3D perspectives are often included as part of the design package.
Many clients
struggle to understand a 2D plan and perspectives help you understand the garden
design being proposed.
Design in hand, we'll present our ideas for your garden and talk through any
changes that you may wish to make. CAD drawings mean that we can rapidly communicate amendments by email for your approval.

Construction Drawings and Tendering
Having seen the design you'll be itching to get it built. On your go ahead, we'll
create any further drawings a contractor might need for construction. We'll also
prepare all the tendering documentation needed for receiving quotes for your job.
This ensures fair price comparisons are made for
all contractors and it also ensures that you have the garden built
that you expect.
We don't employ our own contractors, but we do have excellent links with the best
contractors around and we'll be happy to arrange for them to quote for your build.

Contract Administration
We are available to monitor all works to completion, ensuring that work is completed
to a good standard, to agreed timescales and on budget.
We will liaise with architects, council officers, contractors and other professionals where
appropriate.
Communication and detailing are both key to the success of all building projects.
We worry about the details so that you don't have to.
We will take the stess out of your build. Just sit back and watch it happen!

Planting Plans
Most gardens will involve new planting beds but for some people, revitalising the
existing beds is all they ask. That's fine, we can create a planting plan to illustrate
exactly how your beds will be arranged, as well as offering a full plant supply and planting service. We'll provide detailed maintenance
schedules and can always
help with garden maintenance
techniques for the uncertain gardener.
