Pink Perfection, Buckinghamshire

This beautifully located property had one key challenge, the ground slopes fairly steeply across the garden. This change of level drew the eye and distracted from the beautiful views. The design solution created a series of carefully proportioned terraces working with those level changes rather than against them. What was previously a problem is now a key strength. The planting palette was driven by the clients love of plants, colour and pink. A mix of roses, herbaceous perennials and grasses are a magnet for insects and have been selected to provide interest over many months. The planting was extended in Autumn 2023 and native and non-native meadow mixes will further enhance the garden not only visually but for the benefit of pollinators and other all important insects.
